- To promote research on disaggregated national accounts, the NBER will convene a one-day virtual conference: Disaggregated National Accounts: Measurement and Application Virtual Conference, on December 11, 2025. The conference will bring together researchers who are studying transaction-level data from a variety of perspectives.
- There will be a Micro 4 Macro Workshop in Sydney on the December 15 – 16, 2025. Sponsored by the e61 Institute and UNSW, the workshop studies the intersection of microeconomic heterogeneity and macroeconomic outcomes from an applied perspective. - Check out the Call for Papers for the 3rd edition of the World Inequality Conference, June 4 – 5, 2026 in Paris. The conference will aim to provide an international forum for researchers working on inequality and related fields, with sessions open for attendance to policy makers, journalists, and the public. Submissions are welcome on any of the research areas covered by the World Inequality Lab before December 1, 2025.
- The new System of National Accounts 2025 was adopted by the 56th Session of the Statistical Commission. SNA 2025 is the international statistical standard for national accounts statistics, and is now available at: https://unstats.un.org/unsd/nationalaccount/sna2025.asp.
