Kevin Fox is Director of the Centre for Applied Economic Research at the University of New South Wales. His research is primarily in the field of economic measurement, with a focus on productivity and prices. In 2013, he organized a IARIW Special Conference on Productivity Measurement, Drivers and Trends and is guest editor of the special issue of the Review of Income and Wealth special issue for that conference. He chaired the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) 16th Series Consumer Price Index Review Advisory Group in 2009-2010 and is currently a member of the ABS Methodology Advisory Committee and Productivity Measurement Reference Group. He is a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia, a Fellow of the Society for Economic Measurement, a Member of the NBER-affiliated U.S. Conference on Research on Income and Wealth, an elected member of the Australasian Standing Committee of the Econometric Society, and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Productivity Analysis.
