Call for Papers – Research on Economic Inequality, Vol. 29

Editors: John A. Bishop and Juan Gabriel Rodriguez
Guest Editor: Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay

The editors of Research on Economic Inequality invite scholars to submit manuscripts to VOLUME 29 of the series. We have a special interest in theoretical and empirical studies on the theme of economic inequality, poverty and mobility. Theoretical contributions could relate to innovations in understanding the relationship between inequality, poverty and mobility, and economy-wide or socio-economic factors. Innovations could also relate to issues of measurement of inequality, poverty and mobility. We also invite papers on these topics focusing on developing country experiences and papers which explore the effects of large shocks (such as the current Covid-19 pandemic) on inequality, poverty and mobility.

Papers on related topics (both theoretical and applied) will also be considered.

The timetable for Volume 29 is as follows:

  • Submission Deadline: November 30th, 2020;
  • Reviews Completed: February 15th, 2021;
  • Final Manuscripts Due: March 20th, 2021;
  • Publication: Fall 2021.

Submission prior to deadline (November 30th) is encouraged.
